Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician with a background in farming, fire service, and hands-on medical training. He grew up on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho, worked in wildfire suppression and construction, and later pursued International Studies and Spanish degrees. Dr. Eidemiller then completed medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno, followed by residency training in Fresno. Dr. Eidemiller now serves as Vice Chair of the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group.
Dr. Seth Eidemiller attended the University of Idaho, completing two bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Spanish. After earning his degrees, he returned to Boise to complete medical school prerequisites at Boise State University. He added laboratory sciences to his background (chemistry, biology, anatomy) and worked as a lab instructor and manager. He also worked in biomedical research for three years, focusing on systems biology and human health.
Before entering the field of medicine, Dr. Eidemiller worked in several industries. He served with the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter. He also worked in construction, where he learned practical skills in carpentry, electrical systems, and residential builds. In addition, he worked in restaurants, where he knew how to manage customer needs, multitask, and move quickly under pressure.
